Human to Human Circle Dance & Sing creates
outdoor community gatherings of songs and Dances of Universal Peace in the NC Triangle. We also offer indoor evening workshops and weekend retreats. One of our dances is based on the poetry of the North Indian woman mystic Lal Ded, who lived in the 14th century. Lal Ded wrote, "My teacher said just one thing: 'Live in the soul!' When that was so I left my clothing by the road, and began to dance!" We are inspired, as Lal Ded was, to leave behind for awhile the divisive nature of ordinary thought and meet each other in the field of the heart through music. If you'd like to join us in simple and beautiful song and dance, please contact us and we'll let you know when and where the next Human to Human song and dance circle will be happening. No experience is necessary. Humans of all ages and any (or no) spiritual tradition are welcome. Very young children may not be able to do the dances, but they can dance free style alongside the circle. Questions?
